Timothy Bracken is a managing director at Lument focused on the real estate investment sales of LIHTC and Section 8 properties. He joined Lument in 2021 as a founding member of the firm’s national affordable housing real estate investment sales practice. He brings nearly 20 years of experience across dispositions, acquisitions, financing, and asset management functions.
Prior to joining Lument, Timothy was a director at Berkadia where he also co-founded the firm’s national affordable housing brokerage group. Before that, he was a vice president at Alden Torch Financial, where he performed dispositions, acquisitions, financing and asset management for the nation’s largest affordable housing investor. Additionally, Timothy worked as director and head of asset management at JCR Capital, where he founded the firm’s asset management platform.
During his career in the affordable industry as both a broker and principal, he executed the sale of 60 properties with 8,300 units in 20 states for $497 million.
Timothy earned his bachelor’s in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder.
