New York, NY — June 14, 2023 — Lument announced that it was ranked the top Federal Housing Administration (FHA) lender in the recently released 2022 Commercial/Multifamily Annual Originations Rankings by the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). The firm completed 246 FHA closings totaling $3.4 billion for the year. This is the third consecutive year Lument has been named the top FHA lender by MBA in this annual report.

Each year, the MBA Commercial/Multifamily Annual Originations Rankings report presents origination volumes in more than 140 categories, including by role, by investor group, by property type, and by financing structure type.
For total originations across all programs, Lument ranked in the top 25 with nearly 700 closed transactions totaling $8 billion. The firm was the top ranked seniors/age-restricted lender with 77 closings totaling $895 million, and a top 10 affordable housing lender.
Lastly, Lument was named the number one FHA and Ginnie Mae (GNMA) servicer by the MBA in its recently released commercial/multifamily mortgage servicer rankings. The firm has an FHA/GNMA portfolio of loans totaling approximately $20.2 billion.
