Lument’s Aaron Becker and Orin Parvin spoke to Seniors Housing Business about the FHA Sec. 232 program’s 2020 volume, which came in at $4.38 billion, an increase of 17% from the previous year. In total, Lument closed 129 transactions totaling just under $1.5 billion through the 232 program, with 74 of those being note modifications totaling $744.8 million.
“We could get these loans submitted to HUD in a week, rate lock a little more than two weeks later, and close shortly thereafter,” Becker pointed out.
