Igor Zhizhin is a director at Lument and part of the small balance loan production team. Based in Chicago, Igor is responsible for the origination and structuring of debt for clients nationwide.
Prior to joining Lument, Igor was the primary owner of American Street Capital, LLC (ASC), a national mortgage banking firm focused primarily on the housing sector. He led the company to successfully originate $1.1 billion dollars and closed 470 debt transactions from 2009 through 2024. He personally was responsible for originating 384 transactions totaling $910 million. Prior to ASC, Igor was the owner of Investment Street Holdings, a boutique capital advisory firm that provided real estate and asset-based debt solutions for SME companies throughout the Midwest.
Igor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-med/psychology from the University of Chicago and an MBA focused on finance/strategy from the USC Marshall School of Business.
