Edward H. Gray is a director of conventional multifamily production at Lument. He joined Lument in July 2023 after spending four years as a managing director at Greystone, where he originated agency, HUD, CMBS, and bridge loans on a national basis.
In his day-to-day role at Lument, Edward originates multifamily loans for borrowers around the country through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and other sources. He sources new borrowers as well, helping them select creative financing solutions that meets their goals.
To assess financing opportunities for those borrowers and to reconcile any discrepancies that arise during the loan closing and underwriting processes, Edward works directly with GSE staff.
Over the course of his career, Edward has originated more than $1 billion in commercial real estate loans.
Edward has held various production, underwriting, and due diligence roles at Greystone, Sabal Capital Partners, Spring11, Beal Bank, Citigroup, and CBRE.
He earned his Master of Science in land development from Texas A&M University in 2003 and his Bachelor of Science in communications studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001.
