Rick Warren is a senior managing director and head of real estate capital markets at Lument.
In this role, he is responsible for overseeing Lument’s offerings of alternative lending sources, including banks, debt funds, life companies, and conduits. Additional areas of responsibility include all small balance financing activities for commercial real estate and multifamily housing.
Rick has extensive experience building multibillion-dollar national commercial lending platforms utilizing strategic lending partners in conjunction with balance sheet offerings.
He joined Lument predecessor Hunt Real Estate Capital in 2009 to develop and launch its small loan lending practice. Under his leadership, the unit grew rapidly and is now ranked a top Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac small loan lender. It regularly generates more than $1 billion in production annually.
Prior to joining Hunt, Rick oversaw national lending programs for IndyMac Commercial Capital Corporation and EverBank. He began his career with Bank of America.
Rick has published numerous articles on small balance finance and is frequently invited to speak at national conferences. He holds a B.A. in business management from the University of Phoenix.
