Ian Monk is Deputy Chief Production Officer for Conventional Multifamily at Lument. In this role, he is responsible for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac relationship management and production management oversight as well as managing a team tasked with overseeing the review and structuring of all agency lending and balance sheet offerings.
Additionally, Ian manages a team of twenty junior originators and analytical support staff. He has also been directly involved with the development and implementation of numerous proprietary business applications.
Ian has nearly twenty years of commercial real estate experience, both in the public and private sectors. He joined Lument’s predecessor company CharterMac in 2006 as an acquisitions analyst on the LIHTC syndication and investment team and progressed through multiple roles of increasing responsibility as CharterMac rebranded to Centerline Capital Group and later Hunt Real Estate Capital, upon Hunt’s acquisition of Centerline in 2013.
To date, he has assisted in the arranging and closing of more than $4.0 billion in loans nationwide.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Kentucky.
