Greg Calvert is senior managing director and chief credit officer (CCO) at Lument, where he oversees the company’s GSE, Real Estate Investment Strategies, FHA, and Seniors Housing and Healthcare underwriting teams as well as Loan Servicing and Asset Management. He is directly responsible for the company’s credit functions, including credit review, approvals, and credit policy and is a member of the company’s investment committee.
Greg previously served as chief credit officer, Agency at Lument. Additionally, he held several roles at Lument’s predecessor, Hunt Real Estate Capital, where he was the chief underwriter for the Fannie Mae Multifamily Affordable Housing and Freddie Mac Targeted Affordable Housing programs, as well as head of Hunt’s affordable multifamily housing and credit department. Before that, he oversaw Hunt’ s underwriting platform for all debt and equity investments and was responsible for building out the firm’s FHA lending and credit platforms.
Prior to joining Hunt in 1995, Greg was vice president of property management for the Kamson Corporation.
Greg earned his master’s degree in real estate investment from New York University and a bachelor’s in economics from Cornell University. He is a certified property manager and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and the National Association of Realtors.
